Planning & Procurement Engineer

Planning Responsibility

• Develop detailed project schedules, considering all aspects of the project, including tasks,

resources, and timelines using P6.

• Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact the project schedule

• Develop contingency plans and work with the project team to mitigate risks and ensure

timely delivery.

• Monitor the material submittal, approval and procurement schedule against the

project plan and update or revise with notification of any delay to Planning Head &

Projects Team

• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients,

to gather information and update schedules.

• Communicate schedule changes, delays, and other relevant information to the project team

and stakeholders

• Tracking the actual engineering submission dates and revising the baseline schedule


• Preparing Interim Payment Application depending on the actual work progress at site.

• Maintain and Updating Procurement Tracker on weekly basis.

• Notifying the departments on the Planned Dates for all engineering submissions.

• Preparation of Tender Related Documents and Tender Programs.

Procurement Responsibilities

• Sending inquiries to Suppliers for the materials as per BOQ and coordinating with

estimation team for the Actual quantities.

• Checking the quotations from suppliers and checking if the amount is within the Budget

• Checking the Subcontractor bills as per the actual quantities at site

• Oversee the entire ordering process, from initial requisition to final delivery, ensuring

timeliness and accuracy

Serve as the point of contact between engineering departments and suppliers to clarify

technical specifications or resolve issues.

• Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final


Experience and education required: Minimum 5 years in similar company role.

Qualification –BTech with Civil Background preferred.

Salary: AED 5000 p.m. + standard benefits
